Questions worth asking about access and security
A useful conversation about accounts, ownership, backups, and who can change what after delivery.
Who owns each critical account?
List the owner for the domain, hosting, email, analytics, payment provider, source code, design files, social channels, and any business tools used by the project.
Who can change what?
Set access levels for administrators, editors, finance contacts, developers, and external partners. Remove access that is no longer needed after delivery.
How will the business recover?
Confirm backup, renewal, password-manager, support, and incident-contact arrangements before launch. A handover is safer when recovery is planned in advance.
